Two thumbs up!

To say last night was exhausting is the understatement of the year... but boy did we have fun!  Callie Grace and Caleb both had a blast.  It was even more fun because friends Luke and Ashlyn are on their teams.  Kip and I loved having Pat and Joy Lynn there as well.  Joy Lynn had their wagon in her car and it sure came in handy.  We had so much stuff to carry around!  Thank you for thinking of the wagon Joy Lynn!! :)

Without further ado, I present to you our soccer stars...

These 2 monkeys had fun together!

I think Callie Grace's # is 5 and Caleb's # is 6.  Fun times are ahead!

First Sport for Callie Grace and Caleb

Well, tonight is the first night of soccer practice.  I am a little nervous.  I think it may be really chaotic.  I hope I am wrong!  I will post some pictures of our inauguration tomorrow.  Callie Grace and Caleb can't wait.

My birthday

My birthday was on March 21st.  The children and I met my friend, Jamie and her children at the park that Saturday for a picnic.  Jamie brought party hats, whistle blowers, birthday plates, napkins and cupcakes to the park.  The children had a lot of fun and we did too.  Jamie is such a special friend to me.

Horrible picture of me but sweet of my babies

That evening, my sister had us over for tacos and playtime.  The tacos were delicious and we all had a lot of fun together!

These last two are randon pictures of the babies doing art at our table.  They were taken last week.

St. Patrick's Day

Both children had a special green snack at school to celebrate St. Patrick's Day!  Caleb's snack was on Wednesday (he goes to school MWF) and CG's was on Thursday.

Caleb's menu consisted of green jello, green mini cupcakes, green grapes and green drink.  They had green plates and napkins too.

Caleb's class

I was on a call at work and was a few minutes late to Callie Grace's party.  Her teacher told me that CG was worried about me.  That just broke my heart.  I always feel so torn.  I never want to miss anything in my children's lives and my work is so great about working with me so I can try to be at all the big things at their school.  I try to remind myself that I am helping provide a roof over their heads and food in their tummies but boy is it hard!

Callie Grace's menu consisted of green grapes, green cupcakes, green jello, chips and dip and green drink.  I told Kip last night that we may need to consider having Callie Grace enter a convent.

Soccer Take 2

The decision was made for Caleb to get to play soccer a little late so he attended the last day assessment.  He had a ball!  We enjoyed seeing friends Luke and Ashlyn at the assessment.

A certain someone insisted on wearing a tiara to the soccer field!

Doesn't every girl wear a tiara to the soccer field?!

So excited for the games to begin.  The children can't wait!!

Callie Grace and Wubsie Doo

Callie Grace and her baby doll (which she named Wubsie Doo) have matching pajamas thanks to a friend of mine from work.  Callie Grace thinks this is the coolest thing ever.  We had a little photo shoot of Callie Grace and Wubsie Doo after bathtime last night!

And a cutie pie picture of my growing big boy for good measure...

Soccer

Callie Grace had her soccer assessment on Saturday morning.  Her cousins Moira and Joshua were there also.  CG, Caleb, Moira and Joshua had a lot of fun together!

(such a pity that Caleb does not adore Moira)

Caleb was a little upset that he didn't get to "play soccer".  So, I gave him a snack and a juice box and all was right with the world...

After soccer, we went to the playground and to Kip's chili cook off.  The chili cook off had a live band.  Callie Grace had a BALL dancing and playing.  Caleb enjoyed eating the chili.  The babes had lots of fun and were very tired...

The End!

Weekend

We started our Friday off by going to the park.  We stayed forever trying to get some of that bottled up energy out.  CG and and Caleb found a good luck charm while we were there...

A lady bug!

On Saturday, we went to cousin Benjamin's 3rd birthday party.  It was a super hero party.  The children had a great time!

His mom, Courtney made his cake.

Then, we went home for a quick nap.  Moira came to spend the night with us on Saturday night!

Moira is always in the middle b/c my children absolutely eat her up!

We had a fun filled weekend!  When I came in to work on Monday, look what had been busy blooming over the weekend...

Mrs. Joyce's Surprise Party

Today was the long awaited day... Mrs. Joyce's surprise party.  I have no clue how twelve 4 year olds kept the secret since Tuesday!  Mrs. Joyce seemed very surprised and excited.  The menu consisted of: cheese cubes, brownies, strawberries, chips and chicken nuggets.

The kids hiding and waiting to yell "SURPRISE!"
Here she is...

Doesn't she look surprised?

Dr. Seuss' Birthday

Callie Grace had a ball celebrating Dr. Seuss' birthday this week.  They made hats, had a pajama day and ate green eggs and ham.  I got to read to her class which was a lot of fun.

We enjoyed visiting the park yesterday.  The children made a new little friend while we were there!  But first, look at this picture of my cool kid, Caleb!

Apparently, this is how Mr. Caleb now stands to get his picture taken.  Exhibit B...

Then, Caleb declared that no more pictures would be taken of him...

Can you see him behind my beautiful girl?

Fun on the slide!
