Soccer Take 2

The decision was made for Caleb to get to play soccer a little late so he attended the last day assessment.  He had a ball!  We enjoyed seeing friends Luke and Ashlyn at the assessment.

A certain someone insisted on wearing a tiara to the soccer field!

Doesn't every girl wear a tiara to the soccer field?!

So excited for the games to begin.  The children can't wait!!

Callie Grace and Wubsie Doo

Callie Grace and her baby doll (which she named Wubsie Doo) have matching pajamas thanks to a friend of mine from work.  Callie Grace thinks this is the coolest thing ever.  We had a little photo shoot of Callie Grace and Wubsie Doo after bathtime last night!

And a cutie pie picture of my growing big boy for good measure...

Soccer

Callie Grace had her soccer assessment on Saturday morning.  Her cousins Moira and Joshua were there also.  CG, Caleb, Moira and Joshua had a lot of fun together!

(such a pity that Caleb does not adore Moira)

Caleb was a little upset that he didn't get to "play soccer".  So, I gave him a snack and a juice box and all was right with the world...

After soccer, we went to the playground and to Kip's chili cook off.  The chili cook off had a live band.  Callie Grace had a BALL dancing and playing.  Caleb enjoyed eating the chili.  The babes had lots of fun and were very tired...

The End!

Weekend

We started our Friday off by going to the park.  We stayed forever trying to get some of that bottled up energy out.  CG and and Caleb found a good luck charm while we were there...

A lady bug!

On Saturday, we went to cousin Benjamin's 3rd birthday party.  It was a super hero party.  The children had a great time!

The birthday boy!

His mom, Courtney made his cake.

Impressive, huh?!

Then, we went home for a quick nap.  Moira came to spend the night with us on Saturday night!

Moira is always in the middle b/c my children absolutely eat her up!

We had a fun filled weekend!  When I came in to work on Monday, look what had been busy blooming over the weekend...

Mrs. Joyce's Surprise Party

Today was the long awaited day... Mrs. Joyce's surprise party.  I have no clue how twelve 4 year olds kept the secret since Tuesday!  Mrs. Joyce seemed very surprised and excited.  The menu consisted of: cheese cubes, brownies, strawberries, chips and chicken nuggets.

The kids hiding and waiting to yell "SURPRISE!"
Here she is...

Doesn't she look surprised?

Dr. Seuss' Birthday

Callie Grace had a ball celebrating Dr. Seuss' birthday this week.  They made hats, had a pajama day and ate green eggs and ham.  I got to read to her class which was a lot of fun.

We enjoyed visiting the park yesterday.  The children made a new little friend while we were there!  But first, look at this picture of my cool kid, Caleb!

Apparently, this is how Mr. Caleb now stands to get his picture taken.  Exhibit B...

Then, Caleb declared that no more pictures would be taken of him...

Can you see him behind my beautiful girl?

Fun on the slide!

February Storytime at the library

We thoroughly enjoyed storytime last night.  Mrs. Rose is the best story teller.  She is so patient with the children.  She read them 4 books, showed a short movie and then they decorated sugar cookies.  The cookies were precious!  Yesterday afternoon, Caleb asked if Mrs. Rose was going to read the monster under the bed book.  It took me a few minutes but then I remembered that she read that book in January.  It amazed me that Caleb remembered that.  Children can definitely surprise you! :)  Both children had good behavior last night.  Staying still can be a challenge for Caleb at times but he did great.  He was proud of himself for being a good boy.  I love seeing my children happy with themselves when they have made a good choice or have shown good behavior.

Being silly before we walked into the library
