Fun Afternoon

 Callie Grace had so much fun at Henry's birthday party.  I think Henry really liked the present Callie Grace gave him.  He started coloring right away.  Caleb went to the zoo with Gerald while we were at the party.  He had a great time too!

Once we got home, it was time for dinner, bath and books!  The babies ate, bathed and brushed their teeth by 7:13pm.  Thank you Lord!  Then it was time for a few books.  Here they are all clean and nestled in our bed ready for a book.

My Blue-Eyed Babes

We went to Target yesterday afternoon for Henry's birthday present.  Henry is Callie Grace's bestest friend.  He is having his birthday party today at Monkey Joe's.  Callie Grace is so excited!  I snapped a picture of my blue-eyed babes as we were leaving the store.  I love the color of their eyes.  They are a deep blue like the ocean.  Kip nor I have blue eyes but both of our daddies do/did. 

Moira

We had Moira over to spend the night on Friday.  Callie Grace and Caleb absolutely love her.  I barely even knew they were in the house.  Moira plays school with them.  Since she is the oldest, she is the teacher.  She makes them walk a straight line.  I cannot believe that Caleb listens to her but he does!  I only got 2 pictures of them while they were watching a movie.  Other than that, they were in each other's rooms with the door closed.  They both cried when she had to go home.  I am so glad that they are close with all of their cousins!

 We really had a wonderful thanksgiving.  We had lunch with Kip's family and dinner with my sister and brother.  It was nice to be able to see everyone and enjoy delicious food.  Our children had a ball with their extended family.

Callie Grace's Thanksgiving Party

Callie Grace's teacher said that her class normally does a Thanksgiving feast so that is exactly what we did!  We served ham delights, macaroni and cheese, string beans, corn on the cob and sweet potatoes.  We had turkey cookies for dessert.  The children really seemed to enjoy themselves.  I loved hearing everything that they are thankful for during this season.  Each child is just so precious!

We also went to see Mama Helen for a little bit and then we stopped by the grocery store.  We went to a different store so the children got to ride in a little car.  They loved it!

Caleb's Thanksgiving Party

Caleb had a great time at his Thanksgiving party.  As he was eating his turkey cookie, he kept saying, "thanks mom, this is good"!  I am so thankful that I was able to be there for his party.

We went to storytime at the library last night.  It lasted an hour and 20 minutes!  Caleb was restless but did okay overall.  We saw friends Ainsley and Addison while we were there.  The children made maracas and had a puppet show.

Weekend

We had a busy weekend!  Callie Grace spent the night with Moira Friday night.  Callie Grace has only spent the night away from us with her Mimi or my sister.  So, I wasn't sure how she would do at my brother's house.  She did great.  She had the best time ever.  Caleb was sad but Kip took him out for a daddy/son dinner.

On Saturday, we went to the playground and to the zoo.  I didn't get any pictures at the playground but I did get some from the zoo.  They were so good.  Kip was at the game so I was a little unsure about taking them by myself.  We have had a few behavior issues at the zoo before so I wasn't sure what to expect.  They blew me away! :)



On Sunday, we went to church.  We had a fun time making and decorating turkey cookies after lunch.  I will post some pictures of the cookies tomorrow!
