Beautiful day at the park

I enjoyed a rare day off from work.  My children were out of school today as well.  I made us a picnic lunch and we went to the park.  It was such a nice day.  The kids had fun running around and being silly. 

I feel incredibly thankful for today.  It helped to put many things into perspective for me.  I have always known that these moments of childhood are quickly fleeting.  Today reminded me to cherish them and thank God for them.  What an amazing, hard and tiring role I have been granted.  I don't want to take my most important role for granted - not for one second.

Zoo Adventure

We had a fun, chilly day at the zoo!  The gorilla was being very playful as were the monkeys and birds.  There weren't a lot of people there today probably due to the COLD!  The kids had a blast and we did too.

Good Citizien of the Month

A certain 6 year old that lives in our home was named a good citizen of the month at school yesterday.  We were so happy for her.  She said that they named the children who received this reward on the morning news.  She said that she crossed her fingers and said to herself, "I hope they say my name".  And guess what, they did!

We love you, Callie Grace.  We are very proud of the person you are becoming.  Always keep your love for Jesus and you will go far in life.
