Spirit Night at Chick-fil-A

Caleb's school had spirit night at Chick-fil-A tonight.  Caleb got to see his favorite girl, Rileigh!

Kip and I went to the Zac Brown Band concert on Friday night.  My sister kept the children overnight.  We had such a nice time.  What a great concert!  That was my gift from Kip for my birthday.  I really enjoyed just being able to relax with good friends.  We laughed lots which did my heart good.

  Just some pics of my babes from the weekend.  Caleb got to bring Marvin the Monkey home from school.  From what I hear, it was super sad to take him back today.

Henry Garvin Burgess

Kip's brother and sister-in-law had their first child yesterday afternoon.  We went up to see him for a few minutes last night.  Callie Grace and Caleb thought he was so adorable.  When Kip told Caleb that Henry had been born, Caleb said "get my shoes on".  He wanted to go right then to see his new cousin.  Nothing like a brand new baby.  I am so thankful that he arrived safely.  We had the prayer chain going that is for sure!

Artwork

A piece of Callie Grace's artwork was chosen to be displayed at the district office.  Thursday night was Parents Night.  We got to talk with CG's art teacher.  She was very kind and complimentary of our girl. Callie Grace loves art and hopes to be an artist one day.

Quite A Catch

Callie Grace and her dad went fishing today at PePaw's house.  They had a lot of fun together and caught a big batch of fish.  Caleb is going with his dad tomorrow to load the bucket back up.

Reading in bed

I know that I have mentioned before that Callie Grace and Caleb have their moments with one another.  Some sweet and some downright ugly.  Last night, I was going to tell them lights out and this is what I walked up on...

CG was reading to her little brother.  No one asked her to, she just wanted to read to him.  It sure put a big smile on this mama's face!

Seeing Double

My boys look so much alike.  Unknowingly, they even dressed alike one day this week.  I will let you decide for yourself...

It makes my heart wonder if Crosson would look like these two.  I feel like I know the answer.  Thank you, Lord for all of my boys.
