Tidbits of Life

Just a few things that my babies have been up to lately. Caleb has been having fun cheering on his football team on Friday nights. Homecoming is coming up this weekend.

Callie Grace came home for fall break this past weekend and we went to the fair. I really enjoyed our time together!

The weekend flew by but it was very special getting to spend some time with both Callie Grace and Caleb. Thanksgiving will be here before we know it!

My Babies

Caleb turned 18 on 9/13. We have toured USC and USCB. USCB is Caleb’s first choice. We are still going to visit Coastal later this month.

Callie Grace has her first practicum this semester and she is in first grade. She is loving it.

I love them both so much. Empty nest is right around the corner for me. I’m trying to embrace every season. Being their mama is my proudest accomplishment.

Life Lately

My babies are very much living their own lives these days. Callie Grace is loving college. She joined a sorority last semester and seems to have made such sweet friendships. I grabbed a few pictures off of her Instagram post since I haven’t seen her in weeks! I.miss.her.so.badly. It makes my heart full knowing she is loving this time in her life and thriving. She made a 3.78 last semester.

Caleb had his first baseball scrimmage last week. He did well and seemed to have a lot of fun. Baseball season is crazy busy and just the best time. We are quickly approaching opening season. Caleb has been practicing and lifting daily. Goodness, I love this boy. Caleb and his little girlfriend got in a car accident on Saturday. They are both okay and that is what is most important. My car on the other hand, is not. I am trusting that the Lord will provide. He hasn’t failed me yet! God was most definitely looking out for the both of them.

I am doing okay. Work is busy and I have gotten the opportunity to care for several really great dogs. This has been a tremendous blessing for us. Our sweet Aly has moved in with us. She is precious and kind and funny. I’m thankful for this season with her.

Maybe I’ll get a picture of the gang in the coming weeks in person. Dear Jesus, please watch over my babies. Put a hedge of protection around them
