Our family has gone through some growing pains and changes. We are still in the midst of it all but are closer to the end than the beginning. I don't have some great revelation to share but I feel it is important to mark this space and just take a breath. These past two years have been a doozy. All of the emotions. Every single one of them.
Today is my mama's birthday. So many years of birthdays spent without her. I pray peace and love for you today, mama and for all the days to come. Thank you for loving me and getting up everyday so I had a chance at life. At the time I didn't realize how tough that was but I sure do now. I love you.
