Coconuts over Mom

Caleb had pajama day at school today.  Last night, we were laying his pajamas out to wear to school and he chose robot pajamas.  He asked me what the shirt said and I told him - Nuts and Bolts over Mom.  Well, when he woke up this morning he said I can't wait to wear my coconuts over mom shirt!  I think that was a pretty good memory of what the shirt said!

Happy Birthday Joshua!

Our nephew is 7 today.  He had a fun birthday party on Saturday!

Look how tall he is!!

This little Andrew couldn't be any cuter if he tried!  He loves Uncle Kip!  Very serious faces! :)

I love this picture of my girl.

Moira and Caleb are never too far from one another!

Andrew was getting sleepy!

Sweet picture!

Courtney (Joshua's mom) did a great job on all of the decorations and the cake was just wonderful!  My children loved the gift bags.  Courtney took a piece of string and tied it along a piece of furniture.  Then, she took clothespins and wrote each child's name on a pin.  This is what held their goody bags.  What a cute idea!

Ice Cream Mustache and Sallie Sandwich

We got ice cream and cones from the grocery store so we can make our own at home.  Guess who loves that?!

Callie Grace got to dress up as a clown for school today.  She told me that her clown name is Sallie Sandwich.

She is just a tinge excited!

Artwork

Callie Grace has a piece of her artwork displayed at school.  Miss Jamie took a sweet picture of my baby with her artwork.  Callie Grace has said for some time now that she wants to be an artist when she grows up.

Dress up with Daddy

I love seeing how a little girl can melt her daddy's heart and cause him to act all kinds of silly!

my babies hands

I was having fun taking pictures of my babies hands with mine.  These pics probably mean nothing to anyone else but they mean a lot to me and may mean a lot to Callie Grace and Caleb one day.  I sure miss my parents hands.  They loved me, cared for me, protected me, wiped my tears and simply were.

Playtime

Caleb enjoyed playing cars last night and with the potato head.  Callie Grace enjoyed dressing up.  I loved watching them and realizing how very independent they are becoming.  My babies really aren't babies anymore.  Callie Grace will be 6 in a few months and Caleb is 4.  I want things to slow down for a bit so I can take it all in.  Life is flying by much too quickly for me right now.

Dribble it, Pass it, Let's make a Basket

Callie Grace had her first basketball game on Saturday.  They were such precious cheerleaders.  I had my eye one of them the entire time - she was my favorite by far!

Musical beds

Proof positive that we play musical beds continuously through the night.  I woke up to this image this morning and laughed and laughed.  They both ended up on our oversized chair in the den.

Untitled

I found this quote and I just love it.  I pray that my children will always know this to be true.

thankful

I'm feeling thankful today...  thankful for my husband who can drive me absolutely batty, thankful for my children who can do the same.:)  I definitely do not live a perfect life but it is mine and I am so humbled by it.  I know that in a moment's notice, life can change.  I, like most people have endured that hard, cold realization several times in my life.  But for today, I am simply thankful.

New Year's Eve Party

A special friend from church hosted a New Year's Eve party for children at 11:40am on New Year's Eve.  She is so talented.  My children had a wonderful time!  She had a balloon drop, sparkling grape juice, party blowers, confetti and a chicken nugget lunch.

We also went to Miss Tiff's that night for fireworks and some yummy food.  Caleb was introduced to a chocolate fountain.  Right beside that were strawberries - Caleb's favorite!  Brock and Caleb were having themselves a little ball!  I hate that I did not get a picture.  They had chocolate all over themselves!

We had a nice New Year's Eve as a family.  Here's to praying for a great 2012!
